TI Restro Setup Guide 2025: How Your Restaurant Devices Work With Our Cloud POS System

TI RESTRO

Intro to TI Restro

Are you a restaurant owner planning to use TI Restro, our all-in-one cloud-based restaurant POS system?

Great choice!

This guide explains—in the simplest terms—how TI Restro works inside your restaurant. Whether you run a small café or a full-service restaurant, this blog will help you understand how your POS, printers, and devices connect to our cloud server using your own internet setup.

Let’s break it down step by step.

TI Restro is a Cloud-Based SaaS Product

TI RESTRO

That means:

  • No need to buy or manage your own server
  • Everything runs online (on our secure servers)
  • You can access your system from any device, anywhere
  • Reports and data are automatically backed up

But here’s the best part: even though it runs on the cloud, TI Restro works smoothly with your local printers and devices inside your restaurant. How? Through a smart onsite setup.

Real-Life Example: How Devices Connect in Your Restaurant

We’ll now show you a real example of a setup based on a local restaurant network.

TI RESTRO

Here’s what the architecture looks like:

ComponentExample IP AddressFunction
Internet Router192.168.20.1Connects everything together (like your WiFi router at home)
POS/Billing Terminal192.168.20.100Where orders are entered, bills are printed
Kitchen Printer (KOT)192.168.20.101Receives food orders
Bar Printer (BOT)192.168.20.102Receives drink orders
Mobile/Tablet Devices192.168.20.xUsed by waiters and managers (IP changes based on device)

💡 Note: These are example IPs. Your devices will get similar addresses based on your local network (your router automatically assigns them).

1. You Already Have Internet at Your Restaurant

Step-by-Step: How the Setup Work

  • This is usually from an ISP like Worldlink, Subisu, etc.
  • Your WiFi router (e.g., TP-Link, Huwaei or Tenda) is connected to the internet and gives local IP addresses like 192.168.1.x to your devices.

2. You Connect All Devices to the Same Network

  • Connect your POS computer or tablet to the router (via LAN or WiFi)
  • Connect all printers (Kitchen, Bar, Billing) to the same router using LAN cables
  • Connect mobile phones or waiter tablets using the restaurant’s WiFi

Once all devices are on the same network, they can talk to each other quickly and reliably.

3. Login to TI Restro From POS or Mobile

Your staff just goes to www.ti-restro.com and logs in with their credentials.

This connects them to your TI Restro cloud account, where:

  • They can take orders
  • Send KOT/BOT to printers
  • Print bills
  • Track sales and reports

✅ All from any device, browser-based—no need to install software.

4. Printing Happens Automatically

When a waiter takes an order:

  • TI Restro sends a command from the cloud
  • The command flows through your local network (router)
  • The correct printer (Kitchen or Bar) receives the order and prints it instantly

Billing printer also works the same way. Even if the internet is temporarily slow, the local print jobs continue through the router.

💡 Why IP Addresses Matter

Each printer on your network has a unique local IP address, like 192.168.1.101.

This helps TI Restro know exactly which printer to send the command to.

For example:

  • Food items go to Kitchen Printer (192.168.1.101)
  • Drinks go to Bar Printer (192.168.1.102)
  • Final bills go to POS Billing Printer (192.168.1.100)

These IPs are usually assigned automatically when devices connect to your router. You can also fix them manually (we’ll help you if needed).

Security & Stability

  • Your data is stored securely on TI Restro’s cloud servers
  • Communication between your devices and server is encrypted
  • Even if the internet goes down, your local printing still works via your internal network
  • Reports, inventory, sales, and customer data are auto-synced when internet returns

Need More Devices? Just Plug and Play

Want to add:

  • A second POS terminal? ✅
  • More printers in different sections? ✅
  • Waiter tablets? ✅

As long as they’re connected to the same router and have access to the internet, they’ll work with TI Restro. It’s that simple.
